I like Bren but if they still are only using Cobb to tune you might be better off with MHD + a remote protune. You can remote protune on a dyno so it's about the same tuning wise.
Oh I understand now, so will I get two maps this way? One protune map and one 85 map when I feel like going balls out?

yeah he still only does cobb. Why do you suggested MHD + Remote protune? Not too sure how that works either but I believe that way allows jb4 to get stacked?

my bad trying to search forums, just got alot of questions, need enlightenment.

Unless things have changed they will give you a tune with what you have on the car. But if you change you have to get retuned and that costs more $. So go their once with all your mods done and get one tune. If you want a 93, 93 + meth, E85 tune they can do that but you will be paying for the other tunes. The other tunes are less expensive after the 1st iirc.

MHD can access all the new tables in the DME that are being discovered. Like raising idle and doing other fun stuff. Cobb can only do so much. Cobb is fine I have it on both cars but when I get my next protune it will be with MHD. I need the idle raised for my smfw chatter as an example. Remore tuning is simple. You upload a new map, log, send log to tuner, they revise map and you upload it, rinse and repeat until you are done. If you set up with the pro tuner ahead of time on the dyno they can do it in real time. Remote tuning can take a few days depending on how busy they are and how fast they can get back to you.

Yeah I would prefer to have two maps so I don't have to run a e85 mix all the time. Thanks for explaining it to me, I found the MHD flasher post and reading about its features but corrected me if I am wrong I think it supports only n54s atm? I know he said the following

Ken put a lot of work into them, he decides

I want to focus on the N54 first but never say never.
but that was in July.
Also for e85 do I need anything else for it besides the fuel? I think just need the map then right?

Yeah sorry, a lot of questions... trying to make things out with the search function. I owe you a few beer Torgus haha

Sorry I always assume everyone has an N54 for some reason on the forums. I always forget about the N55.

For E85 above E30 you will probably need a replacement LPFP. So the fuelit stage 2 is usually what is recommended afaik. It really depends on the condition of your stock LPFP. Some can run more some less. I think you want the pressure to remain above 50psi iirc. I have no access to E85 so I don't read too much about it. If I had access it is all I would run.

I do read about meth and I can't wait to install it next year.

But yeah get a pump gas tune and then a tune for meth or E85 or racegas etc.

Bren knows his stuff, you will be in good hands.

Good luck man! Let us know your times. Don't forget to take out some PSI from your tires before you launch.

Looks to be about 410-420 HP (at the engine) to produce a 112MPH trap speed with our cars (~3750 race weight lbs)

I could only get a trap of 105, but does jav have a jb4 setup or a protune?

Nice! It's always fun to go to the track.

Try lowing your shift point down to 5500 and see if that helps. It helped with me running 19 psi on the factory inlets.

Anyone going this Friday? I plan on making one last trip down for the year!

I may drop my exhaust and build a set of inlets

I shift at 5500 but I don't let go of the gas all the way, if I launch harder I might get 12.4 or little less
