Still need vacuum lines and coolant tank set up.

Great work! I was going to ask if it was all custom piping and there's the answer.

Yea I bought the manifold off simply tuning ( duck ) but had to make everything else.

I got all the material and organised a shop to fabricate it all. After waiting 2 months with nothing staryed I just bought a tig and started myself.

That's why a the downpipe welds are a bit wild. Getting them down pretty neat now.

I was aiming for 23rd February to take it WA gazzanats but I dont think I will make it.

Last time I called was 2 weeks before Christmas and the parts were still in transit.

April May hopefully.

I still have to figure out how to Install the trans, converter flexplate.

Get a new drive shaft

Make another turbo set up

Figure out how to tune it

My initial thoughts for the AWRON are that it was worth the spend. Our dollar is crap against USD so it cost me well over $1200 AUD; however, I have no regrets. I installed it after watching YouTube videos on how to pull the dash apart, and ran the wiring down to behind the glovebox where I then got my tuner/mechanic to wire it into the junction box (took him less than an hour).
Being able to have volts, water, IAT, and oil temps at a glance is great. The boost, torque, HP, time splits, AFR, graphs, and max values all via a steering wheel button also makes the spend worthwhile.
I've been using it now for three weeks and do not miss the centre A/C vent despite day after day of 40c. The A/C continues to do its job.

The weather is too hot at present to run your beast at the drags. It is like winter in Darwin which would suit Brule but a little bit too hot for us here in Brisbane with turbo cars.

Drove home from work in traffic through 47 degrees!

Car didn't miss a beat, and the AC is working great even in extremes. Good luck for the Melbourne members tomorrow. May you have no cooling system explosions!

Hey Brule
If you need some heat shielding for the bonnet or to protect that wiring, I use DCI performance products in Adelaide
Hard to find a good local supplier for heat shielding products, but they have a good range and delivery is pretty quick

http://www.dciperformance.com.au/

I use the adhesive backed and plate types which work really well

Put all of the undertray and engine compartment dressing back on it since I've been driving it for 2 weeks with 0 oil leaks

Put the new angel eye bulbs in, replacing the multi colour ones that were failing with nice white versions

Also dropped Tim's base map in it and took it for a drive, very smooth, tried to get a log but I didn't get the whole run so will do that today

Car is quieter inside now which is nice
