19x10.5 et35 rear fitment for E92
Hey y'all. Looking for some advice on 19x10.5 fitment for LCI E92. I have a good idea where the outside lip will sit, however I am wondering how much space I'll have on the inside. Any inner clearance issues?
Also, any pics of 19x10.5 fitment would be appreciated. Thanks!

10.5x20 et40 fits on the rear of e90 lci with shaved fenders
but I have a M3 subframe, for regular e90 maybe the ET has to change a bit. but 10.5 with 285 is doable with a lot of shaving especially on the junction between fender and bumper |

Thanks, what tires are you running on those 20"? 285/30/20 or 285/25/20?
I am looking to go with 19x10.5" with 275/30/19 tires. From my experience, the outside edge should fit almost identical to the 18x9.5 with 255/35/18 tires I ran previously. However, the 10.5" width will be 1" closer to the strut so I'm not sure if this will cause issues. I see folks running 19x10et38 and 19x10et40, however the 19x10.5et35 is equivalent to 19x10et41 in terms of back spacing. 18x9.5 with 255/35/18 vs 19x10.5" with 275/30/19:

i have 285 30 20 really big diameter
285 30 19 will be easier but you have to find the right ET I need et40 but this is with m3 subframe and hubs and bearings no idea about the standard 335 subframe |

Here's my application of a 275/30 on a 19x10.5 et35 (plus a 5mm spacer, finished offset is et30), but on an pre-LCI e90 . . . when looking straight down the fender line, the rim is flush with the body.

Your stance is perfect, 10.5 is definitely the width to go with

Thanks. I did consider 11s with 285/30s. But in the end, this was the best set up without forcing the fitment and the headaches.

What suspension are you running? Doesn't look like you have much camber. Rear fenders rolled I presume? Any rubbing?

BC Coilovers. Stock camber. "Minor" shaved rear fender lips. No rubbing. I had pre-fitted the rim, 19x10.5 et35, on the car before mounting the tire. Backside rim to fender liner clearance was approximately 1/4" or less. I then added the 5mm spacer to push the rim's front side to be flush (no ricey poke) with the fenderline and with no major tuck. Keep in mind the fitment . . . pre-LCI e90.

pre lci e90 needs 7mm less ET than e92 (pre and lci) and e90lci
so ET37 to 40 seems right for e92 (pre and lci) and e90lci I have the M3 complete sub-frame on both e92 pre lci and e90lci and need ET40 to put the widest tire (295 30 20 pilot sport cup2 and 305 30 19 ad08r) centered so that it barely rubs on the outside fender where if meets the bumper (shaved fender and bumper) and on the inside on the carpet at the front side of the wheel arch. the limiting point inside isn't the shock but the carpet and the lower bracket where the subframe is bolted on the car 2 arrows on the top of this picture this metal piece (down in the picture unbolted) touches the tire or rear face of the wheel if wider than tire and the carpet in the picture, my tires scrub it and scratched the paint of metal, but nothing serious I can live with that. maybe with a little bit less toe in on the rear I could avoid this rubbing Last edited by marconi118; 01-24-2019 at 04:00 PM.. |
