Spacer size suggestions?

Hello. I have the style 416 wheels on my E90 325i. Wheels are 18 x 8 with offset of 34. I have 225/40/18 all the way around.

Would 12F and 20R work for my setup? Thanks in advance.

EDIT:

Some pictures with 25mm spacers on the rear. Purchasing ECS 15mm front spacers next...

EDIT: 2/4/19; INSTALLED 15mm Spacers on the front

I believe both should be fine. In the summer I run an 8.5et29 and 9.5et23, both of which would stick out further than the setup you are describing.

Also, FYI - willtheyfit.com is an extremely helpful resource that someone shared with me for spot checking fitment of wheels

Thanks for your input. If I just install the rear spacers, would I still need a wheel alignment?

I do not believe so. Alignment would only adjust camber or toe (maybe other aspects as well) but I do not think spacers alone would change the angles of the wheel, just the track width.

Yeah a 12mm spacer will be perfect for the front. U could go 23mm in the rear and still be fine...that's what I use with a 245. And try get the spacers that Bolt to the hub...then the wheel bolts to the spacer...if u know what i mean!

Would it be a bad idea to get these?

https://www.amazon.com/dp/B00V5YU2CQ...v_ov_lig_dp_it

edit: Based on the pictures on the succeeding post, would it look ugly if I just installed 20mm spacers on the rear?

Just get your spacers from Turner. Personally, I wouldn't mess around w random brand spacers.

Yes that's what I run. I believe they are technically one company now - just 2 diff brands.

Yes u will be fine just doing the rear for now and it will look so much better with the 20s 🙂. If u do eventually do the front the 12mm will be good to go also.

Thank you sir!! Looking at my pics, it does look ugly and sunken for my rears.

Can I do 25mm without any issues? Sorry don't really have the time and resource to measure at the moment.

I would like to say 25mm would be ok....me personally would put them on and take the risk...they might be absolutely fine.....but it's getting close to the fender. 23mm would be a safer bet...but it's up to u.

I gambled and got the Precision European Motorwerks 25mm spacer from Amazon. Good price right now @ $37.99. I think it should be OK since it's only for the rear. https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B0...?ie=UTF8&psc=1

Trying to decide now if I should buy the 12.5mm or 15mm ECS Spacers for the front. Small difference but you think 15mm will work?

I'm receiving the 25mm for the rears tomorrow and will definitely post pictures for ya =)
