I'm looking into just a question for the LCI E90 sedan, do you still need to remove the wheel liner to get access or can get go from the top?

Pre-LCI looks like you need to go from the wheel well, not sure about LCI.

You could access everything with the hood opened. Still a PITA though.

So I guess that solves whether these fit 335D's with adaptive HIDs.

(Sorry for few big ones, for clarity.)
Update (I've had them sitting a few months while busy with life)

I emailed the seller and received these to rectify the fitting issue (NO COST TO ME, nor did he ask for the others in return);

They fit and worked like a champ, I would recommend them to anyone.

Installed mine yesterday...I love the color. Wish the output went more evenly to the outside ring, but it is what it is...and the color difference is much better. Overall I am extremely happy with these.

My sentiments exactly. Any bulb that you put in the e92 will look like this. The only way to get full coverage in both the inner and outer ring is to fully modify like the Orion LEDs. So for plug and play on an e92 this is the best your gonna get whether its 50 bucks or 250 bucks.

Does anyone tried to remove aluminium case (inside is just 26 Ohm resistor) which is normally just for "error" code showed up on Dash on BMW e90 LCI?

I think this resistor is not needed and also because of this resistor angel eyes overheat and in the end destroy.

We have a 40W option that may interest you. It's by no accident more output then the 20W versions.

For those shopping on ebay we can price match but we won't price match on a product that may be lower quality than ours. I know everyone likes to believe they are "all the same" but there are different manufacturing process and internal difference at times.

I bought some white AE's from ijdmtoy for about 60 before I saw this. Kind of wished I would have found these first.

I have a question though, when removing my halogens, I also had to remove a metal piece with a clear glass square in the middle and also another bracket inside the AE housing to get it to fit flush. This puts the AE against the plastic bracket with the two cylindrical holes. Everything looks great but after reading through some replies I worry about the heat becoming an issue. I guess my question is, is everyone having to remove the metal brackets inside the AE housing? If so I wont be so worried. Thanks.

In my 09, I didn't have to remove any thing.

Hi,

I see no sense to replace H8 yelow for AE LED-> what we want is just white colour without any car error and same output "power" as original H8. So here is cheap solution without any resistors, any problems....same as original just white colour:

It has been proven many times that non-led WHITE angel eye bulbs are EXTREMELY dim. Those "White" halogen angel eyes have massive amount of blue tint on it to produce the white, and we all know tint = reduce light transferred.

I've had those cheapo "white" halogen bulbs before my cree's which are now replaced by LUX.
