Demerit Points

Just recently got a ticket for speeding over 20km/hr over the speed limit. After paying the fine, I got a letter that told me that if i got another ticket for doing over 20kn/hr, it is gonna cost me 8 point for the 2nd ticket.

Is this a new thing in QLD? Sound kinda harsh coz if I get another ticket in the next 12 month for doing over 20kn/hr, I would have lost all of my 12 points and loose my license.

Totally agree. I love doing my bit for environment so why i drive diesel.

Work reason is why I can not take public transport. I need to meet clients regularly so hence I must drive.

Sam how is this possible? I didn't think a Diesel could go that fast!

Tell them you drive a D they will automatically withdrawal all fines and letters.

being serious now, could you wife/GF or another person cop the points?
