No one has the front lip in town. I'm the only
06-08 model I think with full m-tech kit at the moment.
Now that 09 models can be ordered with it

So, I took the car into the dealership for the brake squeal, and they couldn't reproduce the problem, so no fix. Volks or anyone else know if they found what was causing the squeal? I have been away from e90post for a while.

Its the rear brake pad sensors rubbing on the rotor. Im bringing mine
in tuesday for it. Im going to drive a good bit because it needs to be
warmed up to replicate it and they only drive the car like 3 miles or something.
MAKE a tech jump in the car with you right when you get there.

Seems as though there isn't a permanent fix, either.

yea theres no real permanent fix...
as for the AC work-i always suggest people do it by a professional. not necessarily a bmw dealer...but anyone who knows how to use a proper ac machine can do whatever. though finding/repairing a leak may be better to be done by a dealer..

Took mine in and made a tech ride with me. Brake squeek finally diagnosed.
I noticed the other day the front brake pad sensor was unplugged. Since the dealer was the last to actually work on the car, I assumed it was them. They tried to say since I have an aftermarket suspension that it was not covered under warranty...I feel used. Haha only kidding, but if they don't cover it then..all 1 for them. Sorry volks.

well they took care of it, but when I got home I noticed the brand new HUGE dent on the rear quarter panel. I already called by SA. Hopefully this is resolved because I know I did not have it before I went into the dealer. I take not of what I had before since everytime I take it in I seem to get a new dent or scratch.

A huge dent is quite obvious when compared to some little scratch. If it was indeed done at the dealer...someone there knows what happened
