quick - buying a gps tonight. Whats a good unit under $150?

In the past I've been really disappointed with the updatedness of the maps and local business listings with gps units and their correspondingly ridiculous upgrade fees on their maps...

Also accuracy is sometimes poor on my garmin, for example when you come off a freeway and there are multiple split turns all in close proximity.

I like the new talk to text features that let you speak in the address.

Any good units out there that you can vouch for through seasoned personal experience...?

TIA all.

I got a Garmin Nuvi something at Bestbuy about 6 months ago for like $125 and have been very pleased with it. Now the one with the larger screen is the same price. I love it because I went to www.pigtones.com and downloaded a bunch af rediculous voices for it and I've got about 50 different vehicles to choose from for the icon on it including some bimmers!

TomTom app for the iPhone. Was $100, now 50? There now a mount for it, windshield or dash.

I have a Nuvi 265WT (W denotes 4.3" screen and T for free lifetime traffic info). I bought it in the beginning of the year for $250, but now it retails everywhere for $169 if you can spend a little extra over your $150 limit. Highly recommended.

Best value GPS device. Way easier to use than my stupid I-Drive NAV.

or Navigon app. It kicks TomTom's ass big time. I used to be a big fan of TomTom. Now looks like they are losing their competition.
