Do I have runflats???

ok guys, stupid question I know but Im just about to order some new rear tyres and Im trying to find out if there are run flats or not, Ive checked around the tyre wall on the rears and the front and I cant see any RSC or RF icon on them
, my e92 325i has 19s on and I have the flat tyre indicator on the Idrive settings but seriously cant find out if there are RFs or not :/, the private seller said said they were and the car comes with the BMW tyre pump and the can of tyre foam also. Is there anything else I should look for?

You might want to try telling us what brand and model the tires are?

It would have a similar logo to this on the outside of the tire.

Not even sure Nexen makes a run flat. People usually carry the pump/latex fix stuff if they have non-RFTs.

^ Agreed. Run flats will state them on the tire.

Also check for the start symbol - that usually denotes BMW approved. But might be best to take a few pics of the various symbols on the tyres for us to see.

Well, RFT's are costly and make for a very hard ride! They also tend to be noisy and in some cases cause severe tramlining!

Best thing is to invest in a space-saver which includes a jack etc, and also carry mini air compressor in the boot.

Put nail in tire and see if you can drive on it. If you can it's a run flat, if not then it's not.

My rear tyres are 235/35/19 even though they should be 255/30, OP has said this could be due to the fact Ive got 8jx19 wheels on all 4 corners and not 8j on front and 9j on the rear, and as the rear tyres need replacing I just need to check if the rear wheels are 8j or 9j so I can order either 235/35 or 255/30s for the correct size wheel. So Im trying to find if theres any way of knowing if there 8j or 9j without taking the tyres off???

Are these OEM BMW wheels or aftermarket wheels?

If they are OEM then you can of course check their specs here...

Also, there should be some sort of markings somewhere on the inside part of the wheels on the spokes usually that will show the wheel size and width. But standard narrow and wide tyre widths for E90's are 225 and 255 respectively, with exception to the M3 of course...

Style 225, so then the correct sizes are 225/35R19, 8x19 (ET 37) and 255/30R19, 9x19 (ET 39) respectively.

Just a side note, these wheels are apparently known to suffer from cracking especially with RFT's!!
