when I did mine I got a misfire and it ran bad for about ten minutes. it went away pretty quick. maybe some shell got into cylinder and messed up a plug. or you forgot to hook something back up?

I have seen some people damage their LPFP sensor when doing the walnut blast.
Make sure to double check that sensor, this is probably your problem.

This did the trick. I had to look around how to reset it without having the cable and here's what I found Quote:
After I did this, it still had an issue when I did step 7 but I turned it on (not starting the car) and deleted the codes (see below) with the JB4 via Android App and then tried starting the car normally and it turned over and idled great. Took it for a few miles, stopped back at home, let it rest for a bit and tried it again and then drove it for the rest of the day. NP, I have to do that everytime I reset my adaptations with INPA or JB4, although I havn't done it without the JB4 in there. Maybe that's where the issue is.

Bumping this from way back in case it’ll help anyone. After my walnut blast, had slight surging right away on the hwy, 6th gear MT only cruising at 3k rpm exactly with light throttle. Managed to also stall the car a couple of times from a stop not giving enough throttle - chalked it up to me being lazy.
I’m probably one of the last few still using it, but scanned with the Cobb last night and got a couple of throttle adaptation codes (continuous, adaptation value) 2CFE, 2CFB. After reading this thread, got inspired to try the Cobb ECU / adaptation reset before INPA to see if it would work. Turns out it did, throttle is much more precise and the car feels even more refined, with zero surging. |
