Though, I already have Carly app, do you think this scanner will help in performing extra functions which Carly cant do?

why would you buy a non BMW scanner when you already have a BMW based app.
why would you buy Carly a subscription based app when
you could get the Bimmergeeks Pro Tool which is not a subscription based app
and can do more programming
Why would you buy any of these when you could setup Ista D and Standard Tools
for the price of a good D/kcan cable and use your laptop.

Ista D is like having a shop manual with guided troubleshooting and a technical
info database.
