335i with Dinan exhaust in Vancouver
does anyone have an e90 335i with a Dinan exhaust in the Vancouver area? I'm curious and interested in potentially getting one. mostly want to know how it sounds in the cabin at a 2k cruise.
Alot of people suggest the PE over Dinan but I drove that and found it had alot of drone similar to golf t mod that I have now. thanks in advance.

What drone? lol The exhaust is almost too quiet. I've got catless DPs (still have the factory secondary cats and res) and I want it a louder even. Looking into the coupe exhaust with the X-pipe to give me a touch more.
The PE mod muffler car has aftermarket catted DPs (also has a 3.46 ratio diff vs stock 3.08) but its louder in the cabin than the Dinan. That being said its not really droney per say(car belongs to my 60+ y.o father). Also both cars are 6spd manual so that might affect cruising rpm Last edited by neilvan; 02-14-2020 at 07:02 AM.. |

My friend got a M2 (N55 engine) with a dinan exhaust, I've been in his car many times and I can definitely say that the exhaust is too quiet and too boring, imo it sounds very close to the stock exhaust and not worth the upgrade.
