This would be preferable.

If we can get enough people we could turn it into a nice party. Our shop has plenty of space to hose lots of people. We could also make a dyno day/contest out of it if you guys wanted to where the winner would receive 50% off his/her service.

Well definitely promising either way! SP333D keep us posted, I'll see what the next few months hold if I can swing a day to come down. Really want to knock this out, get the BMS catch on, already installed the RB PCV, and be done with it.

J-Spec, I like that you plan to join broski!

I think the best way to proceed is to just set a date and stick to it. To start to narrow it down, who wants to do January and who wants February?

We just want to make sure we can accommodate everyone since it isn't exactly a short drive.

I just am really appreciative that you all would consider driving down for service so I also want to make sure it is a good time for anyone that comes!

B-dawg, thanks for coordinating everything. I exchanged a PM or two with Kent and I'd like to get my rear fenders rolled. I don't need walnut blasting. So, I guess make a list of Misc. service and add me

Btw, rizzo sold his 335i

I'm still in. I wanna make this service last, so does anybody have experience with replacing the PCV Valve with RB's replacement, or is this something I could have the TiC guys do while they're working on my car?

It was an easy mod when I had the RB PCV valve added to my car. It is a good time to do it when walnut blasting. You should also consider an oil catch can. I use the BMS OCC and am very happy with it.

Mark, this ^^^. I did the RB PCV myself, it's super easy to install and I know Kent would do it for your while he has the rest of your engine bay apart for a small fee, if anything. I'd HIGHLY recommend the PCV at a minimum. I'm in Tim's boat and will be adding the BMS OCC at blasting time.

I'll just order it and bring it along then. No need for the RB cap or new PCV hose?

Ugh, I know just VRSF is supposed to release an OCC soon. Probably cheaper than BMS. I hope it's soon. I'd rather not buy a brand new BMS OCC.

EDIT: I'm also thinking about getting the OFH gasket done. Mines not leaking, but seems like a good idea. Is the oil cooler gasket replaced as well with this?

I don't know about the oil cooler gasket but am I also considering the OFH gasket as preventative maintenance.

I personally don't think you need the cap. The OEM PCV hose though is a good idea.

Kent emailed me, they are limiting additional services for the weekend to items not requiring a lift, so please take note:

"OCC, PCV Valves, Plugs, Coils and Charge Pipes. Also fender rolling should be ok."
