Hey guys. I have a friend who is getting rid of these wheels.
He has no idea what they are. They look like knock off m3 competition wheels. Does anybody know what they are or what to look for to determine what they are?!

Upon quick search, style 359's? Check out the back of the wheels, and see if the numbers match any listed here:

The most popular 359m wheel reps are Avant Garde M359 and Alzor 030, so most likely either of those.

This is what they said on the back, which does not shed any light on their status.

Sizes are
Front: 245/35/19 et 35 Rear: 275/30/19 et 35 I'm pretty sure these would rub on my stock e92 335i.

275 is a bit much but yeah with weight in the car on worn factory suspension you would probably rub at times. Otherwise you will be fine.

These wheels are on pilot super sports. Would it make sense for me to buy this set with tires if i was getting a killer deal on it?

Whether you rub or not depends on widths and offsets more than tires. But based on the tire sizes you listed, I presume these are E9x sized wheels so I don't think you'll have any issues with rubbing.
