So I thought this was neat:

Between December 2014 and now I've put 47,000 miles on the E86 Z4 I bought December 18, 2014...

It was about a week ago I hit 325,000. Just saw it out of luck on my back road where I could stop and take a pic. I think I could have gone another .9 and had the ODO at 325K and the trip at 325 miles.

Holy Smoke! 5000! I thought 29K miles was low when I got my '07 328i this past November.

High mileage E90s always impress me! Do you have a log of notable repairs?

I've posted about hitting 200K and 300K miles, but in short: I've pretty much followed BMWs maintenance schedule: 17K oil engine oil changes, 100K driveline fluid changes. I'm down to 10K OCI's ever since the oil life monitor went defunct around 220,000 miles (it's programmed to do that). Plugs every 100K. Brake fluid every 2 years, etc. It's had the typical N52 maintenance stuff: T-stat/water pump, oil pan gasket, valve cover gasket, OFHG, ESS, VANOS solenoids(300K), coils(287K).

Notables:
Bank 2 Sensor 1 at 120K then just recently at 325K (the other 3 O2 senors are original)
Thrust arms at 182K then again 314K
Clutch at 293K
Alternator 315K
Driveshaft at 324K (I replaced the rear wheel bearings and diff too, but it really didn't need it)
Radio faceplate fades as the radio heats up.

Gogglespizano has 350K+ on his '06 325i.

That's good, I hope you continue to enjoy it. But I'm an old fart with a lot of tools and have been wrenching on BMWs for 30 years, so the reason the car gets to this level of mileage is because I DIY everything. At the age and mileage of the car I have, most any repair I do now is far greater than the value of the car if I were to have a shop do the work.

Good luck with yours.

What do you think your car is worth? Have you ever considered buying a lower mileage E90 to replace it given that they're now so cheap?

KBB says it's worth $4K+ private sale. No, I'd not consider another E90 (maybe a wagon RWD with sport package and manual trans - i.e. unicorn) because I've driven one enough already and mine's in better shape at 325,000 than most at 150,000 miles. I've have mine since mile 3 and know the history. It's a used car, but I have no doubts about the shape it is in. That's how it works with high mileage cars that you take to the high mileage, it's a used car, but it's your used car, so why buy another used car? Say I buy a used E90 with 100,000 miles, I'll just have to repeat all the stuff I've already done to my car, so why do that? And if my car comes around again for the same repairs I've done once already, then there's really no difference than starting with a new lower mileage car (of unknown history).

Just hit 94000 miles on 2006 330i. Less than 1/3rd of the way compared to Efthreeoh and Gogglespizano.
Maintenance done: water pump and thermostat, one ignition coil, and oil/brake fluid by CBS.
Preventive done by me: plugs, battery (it was alive but the last cold snap in January in SoCal scared me), coolant flush, auto transmission change, and tires.

I'm at 235K 2007 335i n54 motor. I think that pretty dang good for a turbo. Unsure there's any one higher other than NA. Still going strong and often think I'll just motor swap if she ever fails. Never once opened transmission or replaced the ATF and she's holding strong :fingers crossed:

I love this car.

I will continue to keep it fresh, drive it [near] daily, and doubt I will ever sell it.

In the next year, I plan to find a nice pre-owned M235i to park beside it.

I crossed 215k yesterday. Last weekend I replaced pads and rotors all around and replaced my windshield for the 4th time, so I can see again while driving into the sun. It’s almost like a new car again.

2006 325i Monaco Blue Sedan, one owner, 113,000 miles, it's been my baby ever since new. All maintenance by dealer, all needed repair completed, in addition to most recent rear struts. Brand new Continental tires . Oil changes every 5,000 miles since new. Engines hums real nice, carpet clean, always had bmw rubber mats on. Rear factory spoiler and chrome exhaust tips added by dealer as part of the original deal. Front end invisible 3M clear sheild still on car from original dealer install. Engine would run another 113, 000 easily. Selling due to needing a larger vehicle to room two boys and car seats, it's pretty tight with car seats in this car. If anyone interested I can take some pics and forward. I'm in Florida. Please let me know.
