conversations like that makes me pay more for an item just b/c...I'm thinking about putting this on the forum under vendor feedback...

Sounds kinda cocky but also defensive.

Now if he decides to not sell to you or if he raises the price from what he originally quoted then he's just being an ass and you should definitely call him out.

But I wouldn't go start an e-war with him on the forums just because he states he's confident in his product.

Well in all honesty his products are not that good...just good on pricing but you get what you pay for. I've had better service and products from Alan from **********s then this vendor. So they don't have that much room to talk...

P.S. I don't know if its just for this, but I type in Alan (at symbol) **********s is it came up alan**********

Buy junk...get junk. I have learned this the hard way. Save your money than buy the best. Your welcome.

Nope SMG, the smg isn't technically an "auto" per say, it has a dual clutch blah blah, ugh it went out

It would be nice to put in some evolve headers while the transmission is out on that M6. Did you see the post on BB?

That's what always irked me with automatic clutch transmissions... Granted there are a slew of things that can go wrong with them, but the most likely item to fail first, by design, is the clutch. And given how much you have to dig into the transmission to get to them (much more money/cost than replacing the clutch on a traditional 6-speed), tossing that bill onto the customer because it is a "wearable item" doesn't sit right with me.

To be honest, that's the main reason I didn't go DCT with my M3. Although the reliability reports for the DCT are proving me wrong, I just didn't see a need to willing jump into that potential trap...

Getting it fixed at the steal... I mean dealer or an indy shop?
