hi all,

new guy here, but been following this awesome site for a while. i bought my 330ci used, so never had oppurtunity to track a new order. anyways, my ca just confirmed my 2007 335i is currently on the pegasus leader that is estimated to arrive in port hueneme on 10/11/06. does anybody know how long it usuallly takes a car to arrive to a northern california dealership when the cargo ship docks?? the wait is horrendous....... but will be worth it!!

Since your car is pre-sold, it'll off-load and clear customs as Priority 1, so you should have the car within 4-6 days depending on the VPCs backlog and the weekend.

thanks for chiming in guys. it looks like i'll be taken delivery on the 3rd week of oct. is there anyway my car can get line-cuts at the port/vpc?!?!?! hahaha

My car was on the sirius Leader and arrived on 9/27 at Port Hueneme. I just got a e-mail from my dealer telling me it should arrive to them within 5 days. I am picking mine up at East Bay BMW in Pleasanton. I'll let you know how long it actually does take.

My car is on the Pegasus Leader as well, my dealer reported an expected arrival date of 10/11/06 at port, then an estimated 10/16/06 delivery. I live in Seattle, is this delivery date realistic?

I don't understand why it would take up to a week for a an instate delivery for some of you located in Northern Cal?

A week from docking in S. CA to Seattle is not realistic. The car has to clear customs and go through the VPC and hitch a ride. Your CA is being way too optimistic. I'd say more like 2-weeks after docking.

A week from docking to N. CA is much more realistic.

i 2nd this....my ca said the car should be at dealership on the week of 10/16/06. so it'll probably take at least 2 weeks from vpc to the pacific northwest.
