Turbo Tuner and higher temp

I picked up the Turbo Tuner today after work. I drove it hard whenever I got the chance on the 5 FWY... which was not often. It may have been my spirited driving but I noticed that my temp got up to 255F. Without the TT, I never got it past 245F.

My question to those who have TT... Is this normal? Was it my driving or will the TT run my engine hotter?

Thx

Normal since you mentioned spirited driving and it was rather a warm day today.

I wouldnt worry about it too much... if you really push it now and then like i do it will go slightly past 250, which is still really good compared to some cars that are stock with no oil cooler..

My temps actually dropped 10 degrees from stock to TT with Autobahn driving. Mountain driving was pretty close stock to TT.

I think it's normal. When I drive my car hard with the TT, it only goes to around 255 degrees and I don't have the oil cooler either. So far no problems, knock on wood.

I wouldn't sweat it too much since my oil temps hit 240F everyday just cruising on the highway driving like a grandma.

All of the above. I have the TT with no oil cooler and I see 260 every once in a while. No dig beal

And, I saw 270+ before I installed the TT. I don't know if it's running cooler, but definetly not hotter.

Cheers

I wouldn't worry about it..temps should drop back to 240 after normal driving is resumed..250-255 with aggressive/spirited driving.

Hey Nico! I hope you are having fun! Sorry the shop was such a mess and we couldn't give the .50 cent tour. Once we get all moved into our new joint we will invite you to the grand opening along with everyone else who lives nearby.

I am thinking partay!

My temp is around 250 with the TT. Doesn't go beyond that and I live in the south. I guess I have the oil cooler since I drive ;the coupe.
