Play DVD Movies (2007 335i Coupe)

Just a quick question, how do I play DVD Movies on my 2007 BMW 335i Coupe.

You cannot do this without an aftermarket product of some sort - this is not natively supported pre LCI...

Multimedia Interface Kit + Rear View Camera Package

This looks awesome... What does the Multimedia Interface kit do?

Will the rear view camera be visible from the outside of the car? I don't need a guide on how to install it, just wondering if it will be poking out of my bumper or something. Thanks

see the part that's in the middle...that's the modified trunk release housing your camera.

unlikely, if there are issues with the NAV you could always remove the unit before you take it to the dealer

man that looks slick!! can't really see it installed at all. the guy that got it done said that they went out ther to do installs. wish they;'d come to houston! site says free install in bay area only =(

there are 3 AV inputs, you could connect an external DVD player to one and mount the player under your seat or in the glove compartment, or just connect the AV composite output cable of a video iPod (which is what I am doing)

I'm intersted in doing this also, I just got my 335i last weekend and was a bit confused when I realized the DVD slot in the car is only used for the Navteq DVD (I think?), I mean I figured it would at least play DVDs while parked... silly me.

So is the cable you're refering to something like this?:

You actually need to use the apple composite cable (from the actual apple store), it is the only one that is guaranteed to work, not just with the MODMYNAV but in general

If the phones jailbroke you can install an app TVout,it alows any generic cable to work,also,Tom Tom on the idrive screen,now thats navigation!

Where are the 3 av inputs? I wouldnt mind doing this to play movies as well.

Yes it will work with a 2007, just specify it when you order. I currently have it on my 2007 e92 (multimedia + rear view camera) but I've actually never used the multimedia video function =(.
