Our petrol car is some way off a "performance" one - the d had 3.5 x the bhp and 5.5 x the torque! I enjoy both though in very different ways and will always love the smell of petrol.

The outboard (2 stroke 60) on our little boat is fun too. The petrol engines on the strimmer and mower are a bit lamer...
