What's a good reliable car jack to buy to put in my car? Thanks!

I would look into ramps (unless u need the jack for brake job or tires)

The problem you can run into with floor jacks is that they are not low enough to fit under the bumper.

I had bought a quality floor jack 5 years ago or so and bought it so it would be able to safely lift any vehicle I may own in the future.

Problem was had a 06' 650 and was going to do brake job and the jack wouldn't fit under the car. Same with my 335i. Ended up building ramps to get the car off the ground, then was able to use floor jack. (both cars stock suspension).

Still need a jack, I recommend Sears, decent price, decent product.

I have a Sears that is about bullet proof. I bought it about 12yrs ago. Sadly, it is not low enough to get under the front. However, drive the car up on 2x4's or up on ramps. THEN use the jack to lift it the rest of the way.

The OP is asking about a jack to keep in the car. BMW sells a jack kit for the E90 P/N 71106773536 I think it is about $140. But if you want to go low bucks, get any decent scissors jack from a junk yard.
