All item for sale from this seller ....

http://www.ebay.co.uk/sch/ivinitech/...1&_ipg=&_from=

its coming up as £35+ postage for me.

All in all your looking at £60+ for coding. would be good if they or someone had a full list of things that can be coded before committing. Or if they are likely to keep the app up to date with new options for coding.

i think the app has great potential, and well worth investing.

As Col2611 said ... Androids can use Bluetooth or USB. iPhones can only use Wifi Adapters.

i have found another one which is smaller and cheaper which other users have reported as working (cant remember the source im just watching it in my eBay)

http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/2614989660...%3AMEBIDX%3AIT

After PD ill by this one and test it with the free app then the real one if it works.

I like the idea of the 30 minute auto shutdown too, so you can leave it connected all the time.

I'll await your results as to whether it works with the app

Thanks for the link to the item on ebay but after checking it out it looks rather similar to the one that I already have.
I currently have the ELM 327 which allows me to read fault codes and clear them, however when I try and code I get the message 'Coding via bluetooth connection not possible for this model. Please use cable connection'
I suspect its on about the model of my car being a 2006 E90 335i so these may well work fine with a newer car..?
I'll have to buy a cable conenction for coding I guess.

Hi All,

Got the app and ordered Ebay item: 141353574575 - €22.50 + €8.90 postage = ~£25 delivered

My Question:
When I use the app - When I select car model E90 - then scroll down to 318d - it has 2 different options - how do i know which one to use?

Thanks in advance

The options listed for the 318d on the E90 are

318 d N 47 D20 A
318 d M 47 N 20 4 D4

So you just need to select the flavour that your car is... dont know if its listed on the V5 but worth a check I supose.

I would get this app just for that! Have a MY10(lci) e92 and a iPhone 5s
I was able to shut off dimming on my 2008. Im in the US so I had to set all the Corona/Angel eye settings for both US and Eu to very high. Now they never dim! Mine are stock bulbs and match perfectly to the stock fog lamps.

Also my 2008 I use android I can use either the cheap bluetooth adapter or the wired USB cable that I code with from my android using the OTG cable. If you are unfamiliar with this its all on his website. It does state that it will not work mine being a 2008 with the cable, but I already had it and decided to test it. Worked great.

If we can talk him into DME flashing this app would be golden.

I've had a look at the V5 and it doesn't shed any light on which one of the two I should select. Very confusing

I've ordered this, on the way.

I just hope it has the facility to turn my airbag light off!

Will probably depend on your build date. Send them an email through their website. It's a few posts up

Yes there is an option to stop them dimming when the headlights are on, the options you have to turn up & down is

Angel eyes as DRL
Angel eyes as standing lights (this is the one that you need to change)
Angel eyes as parking lights.

I changed just the middle one down to low and got my mate to stand at the front of the car, angel eyes were bright until I turned the headlights on and then they switched to low.

Where are you? Anywhere near the north west?

North east mate. I've bought a wifi adapter off eBay so will see if it works and maybe take the plunge and buy the app. The angel eyes normally are 'low' with the headlights on. I want to try and make them the same brightness as with the headlights off
