******** E90/E92 Body-Kit Development - Opinions / Ideas Welcome!
Guys / Girls,
At the moment we are in the process of designing an E90/E92 body kit. This is currently in the design stage, and we are toying around with ideas and options and would very much appreciate the input / ideas of E90 post members. We would prefer to design a kit in conjunction with people who may possibly be our customers in the future. At the moment, the initial drawings are of a few ideas on an E90 saloon. Option 1 - Rear; Boot Lid Rear Bumper Rear Diffuser Side Skirts Option 2 - Rear Boot lid (Toned down version of option 1) Rear Bumper Rear Diffuser Side Skirts Side Skirt Extensions (The exhaust set up will be available in Quad / single sided and also twin exit.) Little bit of an update guys. We had to slightly modify our rear diffuser design due to running into problems with the undertray on the previous design. This is our new devised rear design; Front (Designed on the basis of option 2 - Rear) Front Bumper Front Splitter Side Skirts Side Skirt Extensions As per OP, this is just in design stage, changes, alterations etc all possible aswel as mixing bits of each options. A Sneak preview of the E92 Kit! Opinions all Welcome! Chris. Last edited by Sales@CMWheels; 01-20-2014 at 09:00 AM.. |

Will you be selling the rear bumper complete or as just a add on for the msport bumper? Option 2 looks great.

Front bumper looks the nuts really does side skirts are to mee all important, M3 side skirts personify look fab I don't really think they can be bettered as they look subtle yet quite aggressive at the same time, the rears got to look sweet too, more flowing maybe than the rendering say on the first pics(where the bottom 3rd part over laps the lower part of the bumper, looks to me like it doesn't quite flow)the second picture of the rear rendering where the lines are smoother looks more refined dare I say it almost factory, which I prefer.
Wheels are all important as well, mind you having seen your 335i with various sets in it trust me you've got that one well and truly licked, look forward o seeing more development news on progress re the body kits. |

I'm wary of aftermarket bodykits, having been on the wrong end of a cheap Polish fibreglass kit many years back - which was sold using pictures just as good as the ones in the OP.
I do love that front bumper though, and as my front end badly needs a respray anyway it wouldn't take much man-maths to justify it

Prefer second rear spoiler and diffuser, but prefer first side skirts (as they are closer to the OEM M3 design).
Might be worth also offering a diffuser that takes a single exhaust outlet as not everyone will want/afford a new exhaust system as well...

An LCI e92 readily available as a test bed Chris
Looks epic, loving the front bumper, side skirts, if priced well, should sell in hoards As someone's mentioned previously hope it's ABS plastic and not fibreglass

As Rudz said, market is full of pre-LCI kits.
Concentrate on LCI kits along with Pre-LCI kits. Kit 1 can be left for SE cars. Kit 2 for M sports. Front bumper lines are too aggressive and prone to get damaged easily. I have modified few lines on 1M bumper and hope you can get that modified.

love the rear diffuser...
The front bumper layout looks cool... but for me the lines are a bit 'thick'. If these were thinned down a bit more so they were sharper, rather that thick and chunky I would like it better... all in all, kit looks nice!
