Have been thinking about that, not sure if it clashes with the Golf Club Champs though, if it doesn't I'll see if I can swing it

Am away quite a bit over the next 4-5 weeks so I might need some time at home with the family in November

I’m interested to hear how those goes for you, as I also use the NRMA.

They were amazing with a small not at fault claim I made but I really have insurance for the day it gets written off or stolen or has major damage.

If they mess you around I’ll be leaving them for sure.

What a great idea Roma (to use the alternator top mount)
Had problems with all the cooling, heating, powersteering hoses and CP running through that narrow area

Goes to show that there are still some around.

The forum is a great place to share ideas, Q & A, and help others. It's been quiet and will probably get more quiet because it's a 10+ year old platform, so there are many that have already moved on, jumped ship, different forums and fb groups. It's people like you that still try to keep it alive

I joined up 4years ago and at the time had already sold my e92, but met a great bunch of guys and gals on the forum, and have done so many memorable trips, track days and meet ups. And through this, have made great friends for life. That there is priceless.

Here's a link to a calendar list of events since I joined up...

https://www.bimmerpost.com/forums/sh...php?p=20134316
Hey termi, I totally agree, many people have moved on from the E9x platform but there is still lots of passion. If it was for this forum, I would not have met so many great people and made friends that I otherwise would not have... If it wasn't for the forum ld have a lot more money then I do today, but would never had learned about the platform, had so much fun pulling car apart and trying to put it back together and most of all driving what has to be the best handling, ass ripping, merc smoking 10 yr old car I'll ever drive....

I'm glad that the forum is still active and peeps are still here sharing their passion for the bimmer platform
Long Live the Forum

PS Calendar of events is a great idea Vu ... can see how things have dropped off this year..... will def kick this up in spring/summer of 2018

Words to live by. N54 Life. Only the strong will survive.

No idea how these young kids (P platers even) buy and drive these cars. They must be lucky not to have hit any maintenance issues.

Lol that one cracked me up!!

Hmm been in the shop since March for turbo,clutch,FMIC,M3 steering rack, sussy & shifter bushings but that was all done back in april the big killer was custom hot side (turbo to FMIC) and cold side chargepipe (Throttle body to FMIC) and the fact the shop is super busy and this job keeps getting pushed aside..

Hey, I've been lurking around for a while. Had my car two years and have spent most of this year doing all the boltons upgrades and maintenance.
09 DCT335i, VTT 2+, Raceport BOV, inlets, working on a hard outlet, PSP750ic, stage 2 lpfp and upgraded lines, will do flex fuel soon and a new remap.
Every freaking gasket and hose...
Been towed twice already so I've popped my cherry lol.
Just want it to be as bullet proof as possible. I do all my own work because I took it to a shop once for its first service... never again.
I'm in Perth and it doesn't seem like there's too many here modding their 335's.
Made a mate here buying parts who is modifying his E90, so that's cool.
Agree that FB seems to be more immediate but the info is better here and almost no shit fighting apart from the usual turbo vendors.
I hope to be able to contribute and share info with you guys.
Don't bail out guys, let's keep it going. There are new things being developed in the US because still a massive number of cars there.
Biggest hassle for us is the bloody steering column right?
I have a set of front and rear M performance calipers I want to get on my car some day also...
