Yeah, season tickets here, too. I do want to see the 5.0's as I have been thinking about getting them. We should all park in the same place....but it better be good, I don't want to put my baby in any danger. I always park in the same spot in the commerce garage....two columns on either side, no way anyone can park next to me.

Oh, and I sit in section 316. Just let me know if you guys get together before/after the game.

IMHO, RFT's are for 7-series owners: I don't give an F about the cost, I need a “get-me-home-vehicle”. It's for the people that buy BMW for the badge only...and because they can.

At least, let RFT be an option on 3 series. Let the people choose.*

*RFT suck ass.

I might park there possibly but I'm in section 108
so church street is a little closer. Does the garage cost
anything to park there?

We all need to meet up after the game.
I really want to see the 5.0's because
I want to know if I want to get rid
of my bluish tint of 4.0's

BMW mobility kit includes a portable compressor and a tire sealant. The mobility kit can help you in case you get a small air leak but can not help in any way if you get a shredded tire. But I am not sure RFTs would be good if you have shredded tire as well. The mobility kit is a standard equipment in all M cars as they don't have a spare tire. Switching to non-RFTs certainly involves some risks but you have to do the tradeoff .. Some who switch to nonRFTs actually prefer getting a spare tire but the spare takes a lot of trunk space.

volkswackin .. i have a question for you. I replaced my RFTs with a set of Goodyear non-RFTs and felt a slight vibration on my steering wheel at around 60-80 mph range .. I took the car back to the place where I had the tires mounted and balanced and they did balance all the tires again. Well, the vibration is still there. Now the guy in the tire shop told me that if the vibration continues, it is due to the tires themselves .. I called tire rack and they will replace the front two tires .. What do you think? Is the vibration due to the tires? What are the other possibilities? Thanks

Cure-its hard for me to say wtihout driving in the car or seeing it...did the place that mounted them do a road force balance or just regular balance? you may have a road force issue if they havent done that. Its hard to balance a tire and get it to be good to go throughout the speed range because they dont get balanced that high. There is a such thing as "high speed balancing" which involves to my knowledge a special balancing machine and things of which i dont think any dealerships really do but ive heard of it in the performance industry. I always say even though its more expensive that you guys should bring your cars to the dealerships or at least a good aftermarket BMW/german shop to have any work done instead of just some mom and pop tire shops or run of the mill tire shops because a honda doesnt work like a BMW. these cars are SUPER sensative to any type of balance issues as far as noises and things of the like go. if youd like me to check it out id be more than happy to take a little ride with you or something and if youd like you can bring the car into the dealership and have us balance them and check them out if indeed you do have a tire issue we can go from there. let me know how i can help man!

umcool911ok-not a problem man, sorry it took so long! the wheel def looks and feels sick! good meeting you(by the way this guys car looks HOT!

Hey guys, sorry I haven't responded in a while. Crazy past few days.

Just finished the 5.0 install, and they pretty much beat the crap out of my old 2.0s. I love them. I'll try to park in the Commerce garage tonight at the game, and maybe we can meet there. I suggested starbucks because I was craving some java at the time. lol I sit in section 117. Sounds like we're all spread around the ice!

911, you've got PM!

Yeah, I park on the third level in the commerce garage, usually near one of the elevators/stairs. Just look for the AW E90. I am getting ready to leave now, so should be there in about 30 mins.
