Yea i see what you mean. Nothing stopping you from doing springs for the time being and upgrading at a later stage so you can do other mods. Someone will snap the springs up 2nd hand so it will only cost you £250-£300, still 50-60% cheaper than collies.

Im just gonna get the out and watch this thread .

Yea i forgot to add the tracking in. mmmmm tough decision and its not even my car

I'd go springs and the rest on:

- carbon front lip
- carbon diffuser
- carbon front/side grills
-1m front bumper

think ive just over spent though

Mate, carbons already budgeted for. Front spoiler, kidney grills, bonnet vents ( hopefully both sides!), side vents, wing mirrors, and rear spoiler ( poss perf BMW). Going to save rear diffuser till last. All 1:1 weave to match roof. That's no question.

Suspension however.......

Think I will go coilovers. Spends £200 on springs, £200 on fit and track. £400. Quite a bit if I ditch them. All lost bar maybe £100 back for springs?

Might call coilover place tomorrow
I do like the 1 m bumper but not the way I want to go.

Thanks. When I say budgeted that's a loose term that just means I've decided to buy them. Not much budgeting happening here!

ive just bought some second hand eibach pros for e92 m3 pal cost £110 and they look brand new well as new as springs can look i suppose. picking them up saturday and getting them fitted asap so will take some pics before and after so you can see drop. i know its not going to be loads. I think they put wheel just below arch. if you want over an inch drop i dont think springs are for you as you may be dissapointed. i cant drop mine that much due to the bloody speed bumps around here. do you know how soon after fitting them the car needs tracking?

Think you're right. Don't think springs will be enough of a drop for me, but sound like you got a good deal.

Re tracking. Think just get done within reasonable timescales. It's not going to ruin your tyres after a couple of miles , more 1000s of miles. I'd get done soon as but wouldn't panic.

Getting tracking set up properly should be a bonus as lots of cars out of alignment regardless of how well looked after!

Yes, I've heard that on earlier models but would like someone with a e92 m3 to vouch for them!

Ssdd want £700 for them. Go direct to bc website £650

Weighted performance gearknob turned up today, as did my alcantara gearknob and gaitor boots. Only prob is where as I was happy to cut up the rubbish plastic 335d original pieces and use the clips, I'd rather not cut up the leather m3 ones! Anyone got a manky gear shift boot and handbrake boot that I can cut up for the plastic clips?

Orange stitching is part of the bigger interior plan!

This also turned up. Bigger box than I was expecting,

Can you tell what it is yet??

Gruppe m replica intake. Not expecting any gains. More show tbh and induction noise.

Looks fantastic and really good quality. Hoping theres instructions at the bottom of that box!

Will do. Yeah I had no issue with tearing the 335 stuff to bits, but the m3 gearknob/ leather handbrake I think should be preserved ! No way you'd go back to the crappy plastic once you've fitted the alcantara!

Ebbbay. £25 inc delivery. ( search e92 alcantara). Second set I've had. Choice of colours and stitching. Only prob is you need to butcher your originals as need the plastic fittings. Had no issue on my naff 335 plasticky ones but not going to butcher my m3 ones!
