Is there a sticky which clearly states what models and build dates this applies to? I have an 07 and paddle shifters, so I want to make sure it works and I don't lose my paddle functionality.

You can use a VIN checker to see the build date of your car.
The build date as Alex stated in his first post is after 03/07. I would highly recommend Alex, he flashed my TCU and helped me troubleshooted some issues I had. He communicates well and is very helpful! |

I can definitely feel the difference. Upshifts from redline are quick and crisp. Dare I say, almost feels like I have a flywheel/clutch during upshifts. Downshifts are almost like butter. I've been reading about a lot of people with issues going from 2nd gear to 1st in any mode (D, S, or M) but I haven't come across any jerking or "clanks" in the 150 miles I've done so far. Certainly YMMV.

Works on the n55 as well! Went over to Alex and he did the flash in no more than 10 minutes. The car feels smoother and shifts noticeably faster. It works flawlessly and I highly recommend it to anyone looks for a great quick upgrade to their car

If that's ever a concern, you can just flash it back to the OEM flash.
They wouldn't check the flash unless you bring the car in to repair the transmission under warranty. |

Took my car to Alex yesterday for the Alpina flash and I'm glad that I did. Alex flashed my TCU and did some other coding things in about 15 minutes. Super nice guy, explained what he was doing, etc...
