The clutches the same on the 135 vs 335?

will this also include turbo inlet hoses and down pipes? can we use the stock or upgraded downpipes? And if you guys are not going to include turbo inlet hoses are you going to make some with bigger diameter?

The turbo upgrades will work on the 535 as well, but we're not sure yet if power output will be limited to the automtaic tranmission. Once testing is complete in the 135/335, the 535 will be next alongside the X6 and 7 series in new V8tt format as well.

We will be offering several stages for this kit from bolt on turbos with all stock parts, to full hp level with ASR Parts including intercooler with piping, intake, dp, clutch, fuel system, etc.

Any plans in the future for automatic transmission upgrades?

alot (maybe more than 50%) of us have the 6 speed auto.
how is the auto going to hold up ??

also, if we do not want the full (stage) aSR kit, but just want your basic turbo upgrade,
can you make the stock plus tune compatitble with JB3 ??
according to the last poll in this forum, there are just as many of us running the BMS JB products as proceede.

thanks

It's possible as we have done it in the past for other AT turbo vehicles, but we will get to that when we see the transmission is not capable of holding that power level. An oil cooler upgrade for the transmission will definitely be required for the hp increase.

Interesting. I am picturing a fully tuned car with the new turbos, open element intake, fully catless custom exhaust and capable custom fuel system. Put that car on the dragstrip with slicks and a 6AT and I would expect something to break before very long, even with an upgraded cooler. That setup is going to make monster torque, which is what breaks parts.

I'd like to see it, but it looks to my like this setup would be a 6AT killer. I wouldn't even attempt this unless I had a 6MT.

Our turbo upgrades are designed to work with our products, as they are designed to work synergytsically well together. Not to mention, our product warranty and liability depends on that. Giving away many hours of software programming and R&D to competitors, would not be condusive to our work ethic. That goes for any company investing as much as we have in the completion of this product. In the end that policy is in place not only to protect us, but also the consumer against any product failures.

I understand many of you aren't running the Procede and may have other ECU flashes or piggybacks. That being said, we will not be providing info for other tuners to make a custom file for our products. Ignition timing tables will have to be adjusted along with many other parameters which cannot be done with the JB. Product safety and reliability is well worth the extra cost involved for the software. If the consumer wishes to incorporate other products or tuning devices with this kit, he or she will do so at the risk of losing ASR Warranty. As a company, we hope everyone understands our concerns.

We have a clutch kit for it from street/strip to full race. The Stage 2 is what I would recommend for the best street application. It is made of Carbon/Kevlar sprung hub and the pedal is only slighly stiffer than stock with no chatter. The clamping force allows for an additional 35% more torque over the stock clutch which is plenty.

I think it goes without saying but....subscribed!!!

I am curious to see if the cost of this upgrade is anywhere close to that of a factory turbo replacement, assuming a dealership either voided the powertrain warranty, or if the car was out of warranty entirely.
