Had the old AP and it was truly great!
If it's the same setup as on Subaru, different maps for different bolt-ons, sign me up! I've been waiting for something Cobb AP-like and if it's you guys I'll buy it straight away! Cheers! /Eskil |

I think you are going to start seeing piggybacks fade quickly in popularity on the N54/N55 with this introduction.
Will ACCESStuner race be available on this platform? |

Woah...i didn't think this day would happen! I had an AP on my Saabaru and would not hesitate to switch to this if I can switch from Tuned to Stock (real stock, not stock like map) with a hand held device...

Very satisfied with the AP on my previous stage 2 sti and stage 2 legacy gt. Amazed at the ease of use. Prove tuner code invisibility and I'm sold.

THANK YOU!!!!!! I had emailed you guys about a year ago asking if there was any chance of an AP for the n54, you guys said no... SO GLAD COBB realized the potential for these engines I was an extremely happy cobb accessport customer back when I had my WRX and look forward to continue using one of the BEST tuners for my 135i This is by far the best news in a long time for the n54 community

I've been waiting for something like this. This could be the ultimate DIY flash n' play alternative to easy install solutions like JB . Here is what would make me a buyer:
1) Price comparable to existing offerings for other models (no BMW tax) 2) Ability to backup stock program (should be a given), and easily restore with zero dealer/HQ traceability of any tune flashing artifacts 3) Safe and smooth power delivery that is superior to JB and GIAC Wishful thinking?

You've done good work for the Mazda community, now make BMW owners happy!
Wish List; 1. Price comparable to other Cobb tunes ~ $600-700 2. Ability to switch maps on the fly. 3. Only connection is through OBDII Port like other Cobb tunes. (this would be a major selling point, making it easier to install and pull out for warranty work) 3. Different maps for different gas, meth and bolt on applications. 4. Include code reading and clearing technology. As a former Speed3 owner, I know you can come up with something good! |
