Very nearly pushed the button on the big brake kit, 405mm floating front discs and 380mm rears with orange calipers. In process of ordering badges with orange accents, and mats etc. Couple of rear shots :muttley:

In BMW, bored waiting for my security update to be done. All the cars covered in snow so not much to look at. Said they'd bring me a tea 25 mins ago and still waiting. Ho hum! Tubi arrived yesterday. All being well its my next port of call to get fitted.

They did security update, for free as you would expect.. Whilst there asked them to check software version, to update was going to cost £££ with little benefit as CIC version control panel etc...

Security update done. They also did an inspection on it. It got a Clean bill of health with the exception of a front jacking point rubber missing ( that I was already aware of and ' a osr rear suspension level sensor broken'. So I thought happy they inspected it and all good but what's all this about the level sensor.
So when the car was up on the ramps having exhaust fitted, thought I'd take a quick peep, and look at the levelling sensor. Doesn't look broken? In fact it's not broken! My friend who fitted the coilovers had just not re connected it. So un did the bolt and pushed through the hole, and re screwed on. Wonder how much they would have charged me for my so called broken sensor!. Bit annoyed they took the time to log it on a sheet whilst it was on the ramps, yet couldn't go as far as pop it back in, instead log it as broken, presuming I would book it in for them to fix! Anyway exhaust fitted, Tubi sound awesome, although not massively different to the one I took of. Love the looks of it. It does have a bit of drone but at 1500-1800 revs so this is easier to live with. Cruises quietly on the motorway. Sounds Growley generally! My big brake kit has been ordered yesterday so build time and delivery time should be here in 3 weeks. Gone for 405mm 8 pot front floating discs and 380mm rear 6 pots floating discs with orange calipers. All the discs are drilled only ( last set we drilled and grooved). Bought with another forum member, tates, so we got a good discount. Also Went to see my interior trimmer. Booked the car in for a cinnamon leather retrim but he can't do until mid march! He said if I'd turned up earlier in the day it would have been sooner but he has to make 500 leather swobs that are used in showrooms to show leather colours for Porsche UK. 2 weeks work apparently to do!
