I recorded this F40, 430 Scuderia and 550 a while ago. The F40 really is a childhood dreamcar!

Thanks for sharing, F40 is also my #1 dream car of all time. I was lucky enough to see one in person a couple of years ago in St Petersburg, FL.

Ferrari used to build such gorgeous cars before designs were stricken by computer optimized aero.

I see a couple of those where I live when the weather is nice. I have also had the pleasure of cruising on the highway with one. The sound!!!!

F50 was such a letdown after the 40. Then the Enzo arrived and all was well again in Ferarri land.

The F50 just looks like a pickup in side profile. I'm not a huge Enzo fan either, but the Fezza Fezza is actually pretty cool in person.

Got to watch the video that Chris Harris made of him driving an F40 and F50 on track. I swear he nearly pisses himself driving the F40. Hilarious.

I really liked the 288 GTO, F40 was a bit too much "everyone's dream-car"...

Between this one and the Countach. Had a Bburago model of one of these, which I studied like an autistic child.

The F40 has forever been ruined for me. In the late 80s myself and my family were traveling through Italy near Laggo Maggiore and we pulled into a gas station where a bright red Ferrari F40 was sitting unattended. I was around 13 at the time and sure as hell knew what it was, so mind pretty much blown.

Anyway, I needed to use the restroom so I walked inside and much to my dismay, both the women's and men's bathroom were occupied and locked. I waited for a few moments, heard a flush, and then the greasiest most disheveled looking guy came out of the WOMEN's bathroom (remember I'm 13 at the time so this meant something). He gives me a dirty look and rushes out to his F40 and hurriedly speeds away.

To this day, when I see an F40 all I can think of is the greasy guy, the fact he probably took a crap and didn't wash his hands, and that he appeared revolted by the sight of me.

lol
