My New Exhaust Setup

Today i got my muffler and exhaust tips installed. Very happy with the setup. It is just a resonator delete, magnaflow 13266 muffler, and 2.5" inlet with dual 3" outlet stainless steel tips. Special thanks to member 6ixSpd for documenting his exhaust setup. Everything else on my car is stock, besides charcoal filter delete for the little whistle. A few photos and short video I took right after getting the work done.
EDIT: total cost of this is $114 for muffler and tips, and $170 for labor; bringing it to the total of $284.

Looks great! Those are the exact tips I want to change out to, I've been eyeing them for ever. Once I decide what to do about my muffler now that I have headers, I may get those. I may put a stock muffler on and see how it goes though.

Thanks for the compliments guys! These are the tips: https://www.ebay.com/itm/Stainless-S...-/141531711311

They are pretty good quality and look great after using some meguiars metal polish.

Thank you I am so glad I went with the ones I did. Did your muffler get louder as you gave it time to break in?

What is the reasoning behind deleting the resonator? Just curious.

I decided on deleting the resonator in hopes of it helping make the car a little louder in addition to the muffler. It probably doesn't help all that much but it gets rid of a bit of weight I would imagine. I haven't heard it with the resonator and new muffler in so I really can't compare the difference.

As long as the sound is pleasing to you, losing the extra weight is always good. enjoy!

Yup, it has gotten slightly louder over the last year and a half.

Here's a good clip with various footage of my setup:

I now have kittyless headers and put a Vibrant 1411 resonator back in as the drone was quite a lot. There's still some there, but it's more manageable now. No clips of the current setup yet but it sounds almost identical to the above, just a tad more rasp and throatier.
