It's charging and works perfectly. Doesn't move at all. I'll post a diy thread or whatever it is later on. I only wanted a mount and a charger. Didn't need anything else but music and rest of the future can be easily integrated.
Now the image above that's posted i dont need. I have my USB for music and the USB from iPod is going for now into USB spot for music but I should be getting USB adapter 2.1amp. Which should be very crazy. Charge. Will be much much faster. Should get it by this week. I'm usingipod so much I was just tired to have wires all over in my car etc...

It is. and the good part is. When i turn on Navi app. It stays on while im driving. Phone doesnt go to sleep.

Ask me if you got qs. The top part is a gloss vinyl that i used but its too shiny. (at night is perfect of course) Ill go to the store and get matte one. that way it will blend in perfectly. I thought of covering the whole thing but I kinda like the cigarette lighter sticking out even tho i dont use it. Plus i do put $1/$2 coins always so that space on the left is very useful for me.

I cant wait for my 2.1amp charger to arrive. Iphone charges so slow thru the comp and i have 700amp LG charger that i use sometimes and again charges very slowly. When i use that little white oem charger which is 1k amp it charges way way faster. I cannot imagine how good the 2.1k will be.

Yeah I could of used Plasti dip. Actually i might. Good idea. Or mat vinyl. I just had gloss vinyl left overs so i didnt even think to use anything else.

One, the phone is so big its not easy to fit in center console. Two, you tried charging it? opening up hand rest or plunging cables? every single time in and out.. Hustles Keeping the cables always out in the car is not Me. Taking them in and out is even worse. I dont like wires sticking out or laying around in my car even if its a charger. Since i use the phone so much and im always out i have to have my phone at full battery or close to full at all times. So i def need to charge it when ever i can...

I wouldn't mind something similar for my BlackBerry as there really is nowwhere to put it. I usually just stick it in the grab handle on the driverside door but would prefer a better location like what you made.

yeah i could of easily covered it but didnt want to. Plus its not as visible as u think. When the phone is in it you cannot see much other then the phone. When its out the ashtray cover is closed. So far no one even bothered to look how/where the doc is.... It doesnt catch your eye as much as ud think it does. That gloss vinyl does piss me off tho.
