Steering Wheel Mic connection
I’m installing the bimmertech mmi module for Apple car play. Pretty straightforward so far. However, the instructions and videos online all show the mic being in the pillar column next to the driver.
My mic is in the steering wheel. It’s pretty tight and I haven’t been able to trace it down to the connection where I jump in the 2-pin harness from bimmertech.
Any help on the connector location or what I’m looking for under under the steering column? I see a 2 pin connection near a metal cylinder of some sort, but wary about randomly pulling cables to see if it works
