Hi - I have CCC I drive in my e92 and literally never use the NAV because im the time required to input address, I'd have already been well into my trip.

I think the Android units solve this problem with both touch screen and Android phone mirroring. However I'm hoping for a less invasive solution. Are there aftermarket add ons that enable input of address via phone or any other method thats not hilariously poor (e.g. USB cable to Android phone to emulate input? Is that a thing?

Thanks in advance. I get SO many double takes from drivers clearly thinking (why is he using his phone's NAV when he has one integrated w/ the car. Not that I care what they think, I just would love to use what I paid for.

There is a CarPlay solution for both CCC and CIC units.
Have no idea about non Apple devices, however.
