N51 P0492 CODE
Hey everyone, I have a 2011 328i with the n51 sulev engine at around 130k miles. Im getting the p0492 code which is for the secondary air pump bank 2. I tested the pump and cleaned out the port. Does anyone know what the problem is. Usually happens around the second start. * the car is registered in texas so there will be no warranty I can use* Thank you.

If only bank 2 is giving you problems then the pump is probably operating fine. And if you checked that there is no clog in the split port going to bank 2, then maybe it is the downstream oxygen sensor for Bank 2?
