Angry Valvetronic

I have e90 320i with 2A70 Valvetronic fault, i've replaced it 3 times, but the failure back again, for more information, no warning lamp light up, just we detect the failure using diagonastic program, the fuel consumption is very high 5km/100KM..
Kindly advice...
Thanx in advance..

You have replaced what 3 times? the VVT motor?
If that is the case i would start looking at the circuit or sensor, Not the motor.

Will be the VVt motor sensor, they cost more than the motor itself. Who did the job for you?

Hi

I have the same fault code 2A70 for a year now . Only this one.

I found some oil on valvetronic sensor and cleaned, but the code is there.

Did someone solved this problem?

Let's make an update after so many years.
So, replacing valvetronic motor and sensor problem solved.no more related error codes or rough idle.

Did oil seep into the connector? If so you just need to replace it I'm pretty sure
