I did a full season with my ridiculous 18x13 -39 wheels on the rear and had no issues, not even with wheel bearings.
Once the cuts on the fender are all complete and sealed up you shouldn't have problems.
The more time you spend on clearancing your wheels and checking where it touches the problems you will find when driving.

No more drive thru car washes.

We daily the Leichtbau project. It's the suspension height that you really notice. The panels themselves don't make much difference.

The only struggle is getting out of my driveway lol. This was my car prior to buying the e90 recently so hopefully the ride height won't be anything I'm not used to

Another stupid question for you...

Does the kit need to be revited? Could it be attached with 3M tape for a cleaner look? Mentioning the fender popping out makes me think tape doesn't stand a chance...

Any chance you can post more pictures, aside them those on the website?

You can use rivets or rivnuts. 3m tape won't hold, I guess you could use panel bond but That's about as permanent as rivets

The front corner pieces can be trimmed to fit the M3 bumper. There are some differences in the design of the bumper that need to be modified as well, but it's doable. We don't see why somebody couldn't make it work.

Here's my other thought, since you'd have to hack up the M3 bumper anyway, personally, I would suggest picking up that $300 MTech Bumper and sell the M3 bumper to offset the cost a bit.

Would the nose piece fit the OEM Performance bumper (with some trimming of course)? I'm really interested in the kit, but I can't bring myself to sell my performance bumper

I would just get another bumper, I wouldn't wanna river the front parts of the kit on a rare bumper like the performance one

The only things that concern me so far are where the rear of the front flare meets the fender and how the rear flare and bumper don't match up. A bit of bodywork would fix those issues though.

Rear flare and bumper don't match up because I haven't pulled the bumper out yet.
Will be done shortly
I agree to an extent but the purpose of this kit is to be able to run big tires on the track, not win awards at shows

Would have been great if you guys made these with the m-style fenders instead of the plain ones. I would buy these in a heartbeat, but the normal fenders are so lame compared to the rest of the kit. Should be considered in future revisions/versions. I realize we can skin in vents from normal fenders, but then you're wasting $500+ more for it. Just my 2c.

Man this is very nice! The only thing I don't get is this really only to run wider tires on track? The whole bodykit and all the work - to only run wider tires? I bet there are many options to just run wider tires without this kit. I like the concept, but the whole thing screams rice with those rivets and add-on plastic fenders. I don't know man, I wish there was a real full body metal body kit to look like M3

There really isn't anything else you can do to run wider tires. I am trying to fit even 295s on my rear and having a very hard time, even with the fender rolled.

Kit is basically done, just need to wrap the pieces.
Waiting on some more wheels to get in and my wing mount should be here next week!
After that is making a new splitter as my APR is way too narrow
