e90 Adaptive Headlight issue
Ok well i am new to this so if i jack it up sorry!
I own a 2006 330i and i had my front passenger adaptive headlight changed by a non-bmw shop, and i noticed that the headlights were not aligned correctly so i got a screwdriver and i adjusted the drivers side light to correct the problem. Well yesterday i noticed that my replaced passenger light is tilted to the left not straight, and its the bulb that turns with the steering wheel that is canted to the left, the light still turns with the steering wheel, and it still auto-levels but it is canted toward the left while the drivers side is correctly aligned, no error sensors. My question is a multi part question, first when i replaced the headlight should the cars software been updated by a bmw dealer or is that not an issue with lights beign changed out, and second when i adjusted the drivers side light with the screwdriver, could that of affected the passengers side bulb being canted in that manner, or is the adjustment made just for the light that is being adjusted, i know its a pain. Should i replace the entire Headlight, has anyone else seen this. If you can help that would be great. |
