F30 330D ordered loooong delivery though!

Well after having my E90 318D for 3.5 years i decided to buy a new one.

So after a bit of chat with the dealer i ordered a new F30 330D during 3rd week of August.

A delivery date has now been provided and its the first week of December!!!

Thats annoying, i want it now

Has any one ordered one with a shorter period?? Just interested.

Can't help with delievery times I'm afraid, but interested to here about the trim level and spec you went for. Did you exercise restarint, or go nuts ticking boxes?!

Looking forward to seeing this! What trim level? Luxury, Sport, M Sport? The F30 is growing on me and would be the natural progression for me in a few years time.

It will be an M Sport if Esroril Blue.

What level of discount did you get, have been hearing stories of some pretty decent discounts available.

It'll be great to hear a review once you get it - the thing is suppose to be very rapid! The nail in the coffin for the 335d perhaps!

It's going to be a long 3 months! Exciting though

Yes M Sport.

I have been in the demonstrator and will be having it again so my wife can drive it before we get my car.

Discount was better than my 318D and that was a unallocated BMW UK car sat ready to buy, but they specifically asked me not to say how much but it was way better than last time.

3 months of wait. Ho Hum.

No to cream leather - not with my job!!! I had cream in a Discovery once, it was soon brown, black, red, blue and orange.

Although, just got off the phone to dealer and the factory have confirmed a week 48 delivery BUT believe that it can be pulled back 2 weeks.

Black leather as it does not show the dirt. I would have loved to lighten the interior but practicalities need to be considered.

Honestly this is big problem for me, my wifes car has cream leather, or it was cream.......

Look on the bright side.

There is quite an upgrade to the idrive being phased in.

Worth holding out for, you should be getting that version.

Can't get cream leather in the new M Sport without paying a pile for individual interior so its black, red or beige.

Def hold out for the new nav even if it extends your wait, will help residuals in a few years time.

Come on then spill the beans, discount. I'm itching for a new car and can't really afford one after getting the evoque. The sister in law just ordered a new 320d with good discount (i have not seen her yet to get the figures).

What you looking at 10-15%

325 broke down tonight aswell so the time maybe coming.....

10% certainly seems very achievable looking on the F30 forum and no doubt a bit more can be achieved.

Looks like you can make a 330d Luxury about 37k or 38k on Broadspeed with a good number of options. I can live with that.

Although you can make an Audi A7 diesel "only" £48k with options. The Audi does look nice. And my car will be 3 years old next year......
