Soni is imo, the best photographer I know

Are there any parks with lots of parking in Markham/Richmond Hill?

We had a fairly "large" meet outside the Tim Hortons @ Woodbine and 16th, lots of parking at the time we were there. That was a Sunday I think.

Its not too bad considering it should be more than enough to handle all of us with the huge parking lot! I just like the fact that its close to Tim Hortans refreshments , good lighting for picture taking, snacks / refreshments from convience store. On top of that its close to the highway for accessibility for out of towners.

I hate 16th / Woodbine area because theres soooo many other car club meets over there lol! Cant even go peace and quiet without some kid in a civic coming up to you wanting to race you up north or something.

The final kicker is its closer beside Congee Queen meaning SGXI will be treating us after!!

LOL I do not own Congee Queen. I'll treat you when I get the $100 entrance fee per person

I just think that the Tim Hortons @ Leslie and Steeles is a little high traffic near-by, and the popo will be watching us in no time.

I agree with SGxi.. unless its after 5-6pm that parking lot will be full of cars.. and correct Woodbine and 16th, alot of car clubs there and the POPO's know about that too lol.. have you guys been to the Speed star parking lot? Something like that is good and hey if you want Timmies we'll do a cruise to one and flood the drive through haha.. imagine on the news 20-30 BMW's flooding the Tim Hortons drive through at XXX location haha..

Hmmm, what about a Go-Transit parking lot? Plenty of parking and no one around.

Chiming in, just like Soks.

Just thought I should let you guys know, recently some numerous haters have been spraying nails and broken glass materials at the 16th and woodbine parking lot.

One of my buddies went to a Honda Civic meet there and got 3 punctured tires on his car. Not cool.

I'm starting to make myself more careful when entering these parking lots that are high traffic in nature.

Just thought I'd put it out there.

Best place for a meet that we ever did it was behind the Destiny parking lot.

That night was crazy.. I still remember..

Wow thanks for the heads up.. at least I know the Speedstar area is ok since my old Tsx buddies had a meet there.. hmm the Destiny parking lot at the Plaza on Hwy 7? Isn't it like super packed there all the time? Its like a prime area... but if your last meet was during the afternoon and there were much cars thats a good suggestion.

Yeah, we had a huge meet there, I think we started early on a saturday, so parking was not an issue (getting all our drinks was an issue).

Then it got busy after we left Destiny and had to relocate, that's when we got to a parking lot and got kicked out from there.

What you guys think of the parking lot behind Go4tea? You know the area where you usually park at night when there are no spots? Anyone have experience there?

I think the mazda3 club frequent that parking lot. I remember last year there were quite a number of Mazda guys hanging there. How about the big lot in the Go For Tea plaza. Even the lot in front of Chapters in First Markham Place is bigger than the one at Leslie/Steeles I think.

I thinkt he parking lot behind Go for Tea is pretty good.. right beside that building but I was wondering what the people with lowered cars think about the speed bump to get up there haha... and yes the Mazda guys hang out at that plaza at Leslie and Steeles..

For location I am leaning towards GO station at Kennedy and 407.. any cons to that location?

I posed this to the guys over at E8X and will update tomorrow or in the next few days if that is the location and we can cruise to get drinks/coffees if everyone wants to do that after.

That 407 / Kennedy is not too bad! Nice and Empty! I live down the street from there!
