I don't know. I will look into options close by. But I might just reserve for August at the same place... and canceling if I don't like it in May.

wow youre on a roll. i am signed up for 5 days now right now. looking to add either 1 or 2 more days and thats it for me. i think you'll be signed up for 10 or 12 days once everything is said and done. 12 days x $250 (average price)/day = $3000 !! not including hotels, gas, tires, brakes, blah blah... damn!

let me know if you get news bout the mosport event with trillium. interested in doing that one.

Hello boys is there a thread somewhere with each event and who is registered? Like we had last year.

Jerry and I have just registered for the BMW/Audi event at LCMT aug 11th and 12th. Trying to pick a few more days and would be nice in knowing who will be going where without having to search in invidual posts.

I haven't done the part with the names of participants.... It's just so much of a hassle. I could always use post #2 for that.

Went to their website. Doesn't look like they are going to Calabogie. Well they haven't posted anything at that track. But they have 5 or 6 other events (Mid-Ohio and Gratten mostly)

It doesn't look like Tony and I will be tracking together this year. I have 2 events with Joel and 1 with Chris.

Ha ha! I think I am the only one who has been able to keep this tracking business as another fun hobby, 4-5 days per year, not more. You guys have become true track junkies, but it's all good. Right Tony???

But it's sad that you haven't signed up for Mid Summer Heat this year. That is where it all started...

Since the 3 days I have already signed up for are all weekdays, I can't sign up for the 2-day weekday BMW Qc event, since I have limited number of vacation days, like most people, which I need to share with the family.

how bout the event at the end of aug with BMW CCA Boston? its on a weekend. anyone interested? i am considering. but that would mean putting mosport off my calender due to lack of funds.

It is indeed on my radar! I might join, but cannot commit right away.

So a little recap on my pre-season mods:

Strut Bars (3) from Strong Strut. Installed but will get proper acorn nuts by mail very shortly to swap the slightly-grinded OEM nuts that I had to use. Looks good, not sure on any added advantage on track.

Wheel Studs. Installed. Makes my changing wheels much easier. BUT now screwing the nut by hand is long. Need a cordless impact driver. Any recommendations?

Camber plates ... Spoke to Erick at TC Kline who spoke to a guy at Vorschlag. It appears my car was one of a very limited number of 2008 M Coupés with a different shock tower spec. Mine is larger than the majority out there. So I should be receiving a new set very soon. Should be soon enough so that it will be installed before the PCA Watkins Glen event in May.

Oil change +++ and brakes to be done May 2nd. Will Canbec have proper high-temp braking fluid or should I purchase my own?

So that is all for now.

Front strut bars have limited benefits.

Thought you had same cordless impact wrench as mine, but perhaps am confusing with Chris or Alex. Mine is OK, not the best but gets the job done, bought on special from Crappy Tire. 18V 3KO Mastercraft.

Camber plates will save you on front tires, even more savings if you are square!

Brake fluid, call and ask them if they carry DOT 5.1 or higher. Their regular DOT 4 brake fluid won't cut it for track.

Yes I had bought that one and your jack... but gave them to my buddy as gifts.

I need to get one for myself now.
