Front turbo wastegate washer adjustment Toronto
Has anyone in toronto/gta managed to fix their front wastegate rattle by adding washers to pull the actuator rod away further away so it takes out the extra slop & wear causing the rattle?
Looking to do this, but would rather go to someone who's done it before |

Hey guys. I’m down in Niagara and did the job myself a couple months ago in a couple hours and that was taking my time. Just use the cut out washer method and follow the instructions listed by waikiki35 in this thread:

Guys just read post I linked above, it really isn't that hard to do yourself. I used a magnetic pickup tool to slide the washers over the bolt so you don't have to remove it.
If all else fails just call up Ivo at Columbus Automotive Services - Ivo (416)882-1439...he used to be one of the great N54 shops in the GTA a few years back. Hopefully he is still in the game. He has done all the typical N54 jobs a 1000 times over. Great guy, fair prices.... |
