Scammed by Enkreuz Wheels !!!!!!

Hi guys.
I want to warn you ALL from Enkreuz Wheels.

I ordered by wheels in the middle of February. Johnny @ Enkreuz promised me delivery within 5 weeks after the payment was made.

23'rd Feb - Payment was made - and the loooooong wait started...
After 5 long weeks i got an email from Enkreuz 6'th of April: "Your wheels are completed. I will take pictures of them for you this afternoon and email you the pictures. However, there seems to be a flaw in the finishing on one of the wheel. We noticed it when we were packaging it for shipping. So we are going to send that one center back for refinishing to polish out the blemish.

Johnny
".

I answered to that email - and after that date and email I havent heard anything from them. They doesnt answer my emails or PM's. I live in Sweden on the other side of the Atlantic - so my english isnt so good - so I really dont want to call them personally.

For me - its ALOT of money for a set of wheels, and i've saved my money along time for this buy.

What do you think i should do? Am I beeing scammed by Enkreuz???

sorry to hear man.. what kind of wheels you got?

I havent heard of Enkruez?? why not order from big/well known sponsors such as **********s, wheelsto, wheel dudes, etc etc.. there are at least 5 or 6 other vendors that I would go to before I go to this one of yours.

Sorry man.

if you used paypal, you can file the claim to get the money back.

Enkreuz wrote me this 21'th of February:
"On the performa invoice there is our bank info. We do not accept paypal as it is not a business to business formality in the USA. We typically do not sell to end user, but in your case we are fixing what was wrong with Jlevi."

also: none of the above is a Vendor that sells Enkreuz wheels.......

damn i remember u made a thread a long while bak that u were deciding that wheels u were gettin, and i see u went w/ enkreuz. sorry to hear about ur current situation. i would say get a calling card or somethin so u can call them up instead of shooting emails which would be a long process of waiting bak for replies.

My problem isnt the phonebill for calling to USA (or calling card as you say) - my problem is that i'm not so good at English so i'm afraid i wont be understood if I call them... :/ that is my problem.

ahh.. so none of them sell enkreuz?

Sorry to hear man..

But a good piece of advice is.. this is my parts ordering preference.

1) look at the vendor credibility
2) look at what wheels they offer and go from there.
3) always pay with paypal/CC, as they offer BEST buyer protection.

I also got scammed before, (but not in the amount you're in), just about a hundred dollar or so. Since then, I have always follow the above rules when it comes to ordering a hundreds/thousands of dollars worth of parts online.

Good luck man!

PS. if you made payment via credit card, I'd actually start calling your CC / bank and tell them that you are being scammed and put in a record.

Trust me, you want to do it. You're just giving CC a record so that in 2 weeks, you can still go back and say, I called in 2 weeks ago about possible scam, and 2 weeks later, you're confirming it is a scam and want your money back!

They're all made in China then brought to Silicon Valley to get fancy hub caps and fake Made in USA engravings.

Do you have proof of this very fact?? I'd say that most of the Forged wheel companies do most of the machining & assembly here. Parts however can come from China/Korea & the USA. Before you lump all forged wheel companies together in general.......do some research.

I'm not defending any of the forged wheel companies & their practices, but shooting off facts that are unsubstantiated makes you ignorant!

Parts can come from China, you mean the barrel and 100% of the material.
Who cares if its assembled in USA? The material is still not pure, and up to grade, which is why a lot of these kind of rims bend so easily.

You need proof? Visit china or Taiwan. I don't need to post any proof.

I wouldn't mind if you are paying for the ticket to go visit China or Taiwan.

nowadays, everything are made in china bro, even other famous brands such as brembo got company in china to cut their production fee. like this case, you still cannot say that brembo's quality is bad. the most important thing is the quality control, even some brembo's products are being made in china they still got TUV Approval.
