Bad O2 sensor??
I have been getting misfires on cyl 4 and 6 lately and some fuel pressure codes that may have something to do with me spraying methanol to supplement fuel. I had a strange Lamada probe code 9 (cant remember it) something about behind the cat, unplugged... blah blah blah. I am catless so I am used to seeing codes but this one was unfamiliar. Well I had an inspection and picked up a dp fix and now all the codes are gone. I still from time to time get some misfires but always in cyl 4. I have new plugs and a coil pack on the way but I think because it take 6 with it too (new coil already) that it has something to do with that o2 code. Terry at BMS said it was the code for that sensor being unplugged, not bad. I am not sure if the plug is bad or its the sensor itself but I have no codes now, just a car that performs inconsistently and misfires 2/4/6. Could the DP fix be masking a bad O2 sensor and has anyone bought new and noticed that the car all the sudden pulls much harder at any given boost level? Boost is still building high and fast but the torque on my FBO is just not there....sometimes.
