I got my turboback exhaust from Dave installed a couple of weeks ago. I love the sound and enjoy that it's not loud and there is no annoying drone. The install of the exhaust went well. I may go back and make some adjustments to the muffler hangers so the tips are more centered. After a couple hundred miles, the inside of the tips are BLACK . I combined the exhaust with the BPC Stage II+ and the car pulls so hard. I am now looking at getting an LSD because stomping on the throttle going 25 makes the traction control lights go crazy.

When people tailgate me now, I give them a cloud of black smoke.

Just turn the traction off and get slide-ways

Maybe in an empty parking lot. I would have gotten slide-ways right into the ditch if the traction control was off.

Shipping weight with box, packing and downpipe are 69.5 lbs

In process of installing and could not be happier with Dave's support. Super person to deal with.

Let me know if you are successful and any tips you may have. Mine are a bit low and out to the side, if that makes sense.

Otherwise, this exhaust is a super value and the support from Iaknown has been second to none.

I weighed the OEM exhaust late last week and got a result that I'm surprised by. I had to use a normal bathroom scale. Weighed myself and then me + the whole exhaust. I got 69.4 lbs. I'm suspicious of the scale now. I did the same thing last week with the differential and got 84 lbs.

We have a nice freight scale at work but I'm thinking the guards at work will look at me like I'm crazy if I haul the exhaust to work in my truck bed.

...
Was that the entire exhaust from post downpipe back? I weighed just the muffler section at about 40 lbs., so I don't think you're that far off.

Complete intact exhaust that would bolt to the back of the DPF all the way to the tips. I think it's worth a re-weigh. It's hardly different than numbers given for the exhaust teaser.

Tangent to exhaust discussion, the vibrant gasket (#1458) has changed a little. I recall it not fitting the downpipe perfectly. I got 2 more from summit in October. The bolt holes are now slotted for varying stud spacing. You don't need to force it anymore. It goes right on back of DPF studs now. I don't know how to post a picture from iPhone.

Hmm, not sure about the stock exhaust but I recall my diff weighing right around 100 pounds, so something is off there.

That sounds about right. But the rest of the exhaust with midpipe and SCR has some weight too. And then of course the DPF is an anchor.....

Okay. I'll ask if I can do the freight scale thing at work. I have a couple other things I would want to weigh too.

iaknown - any vid clips of this exhaust at idle and under WOT?

Also - would be interested in how I could get my hands on one of these...

I took the less obvious method. I took diff to work this weekend and it weighed at 82 pounds. It doesn't have fluid in it. This is close to the bathroom scale method I spoke of above.

Installed mine this week, already had the banned one's DP. In a word - awesome! Fit and finish are very good. I also finally swapped in my BPC 2+ DDE instead of my JR 2+, and I love that too! More power (maybe solely due to the exhaust) and cleaner. The car is now up for ludicrous speed when it's on meth. I barely have my toe in it to run 70-75mph. Can't wait to see what the fuel economy numbers look like on the highway.
