Shiv, you hit out of the park with this map, running stage 2 with dci, fmic and its solid. i reset the throttle adaptations and will try the method outlined in the first post and see if it can get even better, the best part about this map is how that rough idle i had is gone. now that i know how to data log, ill post some up for you and others to have a look.

What OL fueling settings are you running and what does your log look like (particularly AFR and fuel trims)?

you should try to plot only 3rd-4th gear and add CAN actual ignition advance , Fuel trims bank 1 and 2 (in the same line) and AFR 1 and 2 (in the same line).

Franzz- just raise the open loop fuel setting from the default value of 75% to say 85% and try again. By the time we make these maps non-beta, we hope to have it auto adjust.

I am reading road speed properly.

If NLS is interfering with your normal driving, just turn it off. But first try calibrating throttle and see if that is the cause because ignition is only cut when throttle >80% and clutch is depressed. I don't see how those two conditions can occur accidentally/unintentionally unless you are clutching in before you let off the throttle.

Funny, same values I got. I noticed I would get between 420-424 depending on a tiny bit of foot pressure near the kickdown.

I decided to leave it at 422, since I'd like to ensure 100% is achievable on everyday driving without me having to modulate foot pressure to get to 100%.

Hey Shiv!

Could/Should we calibrate throttle position also with 3-17 maps?

Does firmware v.111, and maps 3-17 support such calibration?

Thanks

Mmhmm. Takes makes good sense.

I did it a few times and it always maxed between 421 and 424. Can't wait to try it out later today

You should take road speed off your log and put CAN actual ignition advance. Its by far the most important value to log.
