Having owned one at the same time as my 1er, hell no. Perhaps Japanese engineering isn't for me, but the car was driving me up the wall in the end.

Have you test driven one?
On paper, I thought the BRZ was going to be the best car for me long term: 1. reliability 2. purchase price 3. equipment on the limited package (heated alcantara/leather seats, keyless entry ignition, nav, HIDs, led drl, dual climate control) 4. long term resale (anticipated due to popularity) 5. mpg 6. fun to drive And then I drove the car and found the following things not to my liking 1. engine sounds terrible. the intake piping makes it worse 2. the rear back seat is completely useless. completely. 3. the trunk is useless 4. cabin noise 5. overall cheapness in interior feel 6. suspension was too stiff. I'm older than I thought FML The car was not for me. It's a great car for lots of folks, but it just wasn't for me. If I was still in college I'm sure all of the cons I listed wouldn't have even registered, but I'm not in college and as I've gotten older, I've began to appreciate quiet comfortable cars that still have a sporty edge, vs. sporty cars that have a little bit of comfort added in. |
