how can I read my boost levels and throttle position?

I keep seeing people post MHD logs ... which show boost levels and throttle position and other things.

How can I do this level of tracking and analysis on my vehicle? I have 07 335i .. it's stock and I want it to remain stock until I get a good baseline.

What do I need to do in order to get this granular level of reading?

I have a cable already i use to hook up to inpa .. same cable right?

Does MHD have a "stock" option .. I can't tell.

I'm also still confused between mhd and jb4 .. i see people doing both.

MHD is a software solution.

JB4 is a hardware piggyback thing.

Just do MHD.
yes you can use the same cable.
