Exciting news. I have a 330i that I Just put the MILV’s in, but will now need a tune! Would love to be able to do it locally at AA.

Local to AA, that's great for you.
You're the guy nominated to stop by AA and ask. They might give you a good deal to be the first customer that they can try their new tune on.

New Year's Resolution- No more sitting by and waiting, Get it done.

How's the MILVs doing with no tune? Initial and after a week of adaptation?

Just did them yesterday, also did silicone intake elbow, new coils, spark plugs, and the valve cover gasket. Car is running fantastic. I don’t know if it’s a combination of everything, but it definitely feels more powerful. Waiting on the headers to return from ceramic coaters, once I have that in, I’ll start to bother AA.

Bring it by when you get the headers on and we'll tune it We did get a set for our shop car but we have quite a bit of customer work in the shop so I'm not entirely sure when we'll get some time to install them.

Eagerly waiting on this as well, I'd be way more inclined to buy MILV's as well if AA offered tuning

+1. As great as the other tune is and how they're making awesome contributions to this platform, I just can't justify paying almost $700 USD for a tune...

If AA can get this tune right at their price point, its way more worth it (imo) even if it's only 80-90% as good as the other one.

Agreed, their continuous support counts for something in my books. I'd be happy to pay an upgrade fee once their software for MILV's get released (and hopefully soon)!

x2

They were first to support the N52 as a viable tuning option. Been a long time customer and always get a good re-flash rate at the local AA dealer so I'd like to continue to support the AA product, even if I also appreciate and respect with BPC is doing for our platform.

Any update on this? AA even working on something. MILVs and Catless headers are the last frontier for performance modifications for my car and I'm kinda itching for some more performance!

Wait, what? I'm late to the party!

I have the updated tune and like it, but have not done the MILV's, awaiting AA to (hopefully) update the tune.

Any idea what the upgrade cost will be from AA?

Thanks much,

Kevin M.

Couple months back they showed promise, but never heard any forward motion since. I, too, have had an email communication with them for the MILV tune, but was told to wait for their update. That was at least two months back. I'm not that gun-ho on getting the tune stat because I'm still waiting on a valvecover leak to incentive myself into the MILV job. Anyways, it'll be prudent to keep this thread alive to get the update if it ever goes public. I figured if no updates within another 6 months, I may have to call BPC up and go their route from then on, leaving AA behind.

It seems that right up front there would be at least 6-8 immediate customers for their 'MILVs tune' if they would put the time into it.

I have been told by AA software support that they have an update, but am waiting for their sales(Andrew) to get back to me... Perhaps they are fine tuning it for the 328i(posts have suggested it was a 330i they tuned for Milv's).
A response saying so would be nice.

What's the difference? They said they had a tune done (on the dyno) months ago, and said that the tune offered to MILVS customers would be that tune. Who knows what happened after that...

The tune was done on my 330i. I would think the difference would be in the manifold, which I would suggest you get anyways.

The tune is really strong, but does have a slight bug that needs to be fixed. Waiting on AA to get back to me to get the car back on the dyno. Other than that, I am extremely happy with how it turned out. The car was woken up, and is a completely different car after the tune.
